 There was no chance that Republican Presidential nominee John McCain would ask Ron Paul to speak at the Republican National Convention, so Paul did what any freedom loving American would do, he held his own convention, and ironically, he drew almost as many attendants to his convention as the RNC’s was able to draw to in.
Didn’t hear about Paul’s Rally for the Republic? That’s not surprising considering the media has been bought and paid for by corporate interests. But Paul did hold a convention and it signaled something much bigger than the hollow claims of reform that came out of either the RNC's or the DNC’s conventions.
The people of America are awaking from their slumber and something has started which will change the political landscape of America for a long time to come.
Paul who withdrew from the Presidential race this summer, has kept hope alive, turning his efforts to trying to build an organization to get real, limited government Republicans recruited and elected, so we can take back our Government from neo-cons and socialists alike.
Paul made it clear that both Parties were destroying America, and that it’s up to the people of America to rise up and take back the reigns of power from those who seem bent on wrecking the government.
Paul’s efforts aren’t going to change the outcome of this election, but the undeniable truth is that something has changed in the psyche of the American people, and that change is centered on the freedom loving congressman from Texas.
If you watched the Republican Nation Convention wondering why there was no discussion of the deficit, national defense, taxation, and over reaching and out of control government, it’s because those Republicans we’re all at Paul’s convention.
Unlike the Republican nominated candidates, Paul has already changed America, he has lit a fire that will run from border to border, attracting members of all parties who have had enough of the status-quo in Washington and who want better for themselves and their family.
The age of big Government, corruption, greed, unjustified war, unfair taxation and government divorced from the people is over. We’re now headed into Paul country and the change you can believe in.
