DJ AM And Travis Barker Teaming Up For New Year's Eve
For the first time since surviving a tragic plane crash a couple of months ago, Travis Barker and DJ AM will take the stage together for a New Year's performance. MTV News reports the pair will headline New Year's Nation's Los Angeles New Year's Eve Party at the Lot in West Hollywood. The show will be streamed live on the Internet through the New Year's Nation website. The site aims to connect thousands of people celebrating the new year in multiple cities. Barker said in a statement that he is ready to get back on stage with AM adding, quote, "I'm very excited to bring in the New Year in my hometown of L.A."
The shared performance will be the first for AM and Barker since they took the stage at an event in South Carolina on September 19th. Just hours after that show, the two boarded a plane that crashed and killed four others onboard. AM and Barker were the only survivors. The two underwent extensive surgery and therapy for the injuries they suffered. |
