Travis Barker Dismisses Blink 182 Reunion
A Blink 182 reunion won't happen anytime soon, at least according to Travis Barker. TMZ.com has posted a video in which the tattooed drummer replies, quote, "no," when asked if the group is getting back together. While Barker may not envision a reemergence of Blink 182, he does add, quote, "We're friends, though, everyone's getting along pretty good." Rumors of a possible reunion began to spread after former Blink bassist Mark Hoppus wrote in a blog that the band had been spending time together after Barker's plane crash. While not predicting a reunion, Hoppus is more open than Barker saying, quote, "The answer is none of us know. We haven't talked about it at all." Hoppus does echo Barker's sentiment that their relationships are better saying, quote, "Right now it's just good for the three of us to see one another, reconnect and let the past be the past." Travis Barker is still recovering from injuries suffered in a September plane crash from which he and celebrity deejay DJ AM emerged as the only survivors. The two have announced plans to team up for a New Year's Eve performance at the Lot in West Hollywood. The gig will be streamed live on the Internet through the New Year's Nation website.
