Cute Is What We Aim For will headline the 2009 edition of the Take Action! tour. The band will welcome Meg & Dia, Breathe Carolina, Every Avenue, and Anarbor for the eighth annual trek. Cute Is What We Aim For singer Shaant Hacikyan says, quote, "It's an awe inspiring opportunity to be a part of such an empathetic tour and cause. It has endured the years and has remained a staple based on it's brilliant fuel -- consideration." The vocalist says he takes pride in knowing that they can do what they truly love and simultaneously lend a helping hand. Tour dates and ticket information for the 2009 trek will be revealed shortly.
Bamboozle is continuing to bulk up the lineup for the East Coast edition. Rise Against is the biggest name added. The band will join May 2nd headliners Fall Out Boy and May 3rd headliners No Doubt on the bill. Other acts signed on include 3OH!3, Bloodhound Gang, Boys Like Girls, Gwar, and New Found Glory. More acts will be named in the coming months. The East Coast Bamboozle takes place at the Meadowlands complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey. |
