In 1986 Annie Lennox ripped off her bra at a concert in Birmingham, England, during an enthusiastic rendition of the song "Missionary Man." In 1987 Whitesnake's self-titled album was certified multi-Platinum. In 1988 Kiss bassist Gene Simmons appeared on the talk show "Geraldo" to discuss "Sex On The Road." In 1991 Guns N' Roses album "Use Your Illusion 2" was certified multi-Platinum. In 1995 Lenny Kravitz's mother, actress Roxie Roker, died of breast cancer. She was 66. In 2001 Dave Matthews Band, Bon Jovi, Lenny Kravitz, and Staind were among the winners at the "My VH1 Music Awards '01." In 2002 Tommy Lee was ordered to stand trial in a wrongful death lawsuit against him. The case stemmed from an accidental drowning of a five-year-old boy at a birthday party for one of Lee's sons. In 2003 Marilyn Manson was under investigation by authorities in Switzerland after the group Christians for Truth alleged that his concert in Zurich broke a law designed to protect the sanctity of Swiss religion. Limp Bizkit cancelled concerts in Bali, Thailand, and the Philippines because of concerns over terrorist attacks in the region. In 2004 Franz Ferdinand bassist Bob Hardy was released from the hospital. He became sick a week earlier while the group was on tour in Japan, and his condition became so bad he needed to be hospitalized.
