John Lennon Tribute Concert This Weekend
The late John Lennon will be remembered this weekend with a tribute concert. CMT.com says Rosanne Cash has been tapped to lead the slate of performers, which includes singer-songwriters Carrie Rodriguez, Vance Gilbert, and Cliff Eberhardt. The show will also serve as a benefit in support of World Hunger Year. The 28th annual John Lennon Tribute Concert is set for the Ailey Citigroup Theater in New York City on Sunday.
Next Monday is the 28th anniversary of Lennon's death. The former Beatle was shot and killed on December 8th, 1980, at the entrance of his New York City apartment building. |
