Richard Marx's "Angelia" peaked at number four on the pop singles chart. 1995 - Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men's "One Sweet Day" debuted at number one on the pop singles chart. It stayed there for a record breaking 16 weeks. 1997 - Janet Jackson released the single "Together Again." 1998 - Jewel's album "Spirit" was certified double Platinum. 2001 - Dave Matthews Band, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, and the "Lady Marmalade" women - Christina Aguilera, Pink, Mya, and Lil' Kim - were among the winners at the "My VH1 Music Awards '01." 2002 - Michael Jackson took the stand to testify in the case against him launched by a promoter who sued him for allegedly bailing on a pair of millennium concerts.
