Taylor Swift's Musical Love Revealed
Looks like Taylor Swift might have a new man in her life. According to "People," the singer is pretty close to Stephen Barker Liles, of the band Love and Theft, and Liles is the inspiration for Swift's romantic song "Hey Stephen." The two apparently got to know one another when Liles' band opened for Swift during some of her shows this year. The romantic ballad suggests the two developed an attraction to each other, and Taylor subtly refers to Liles in code as the words "Love and Theft" are spelled out in "Hey Stephen's" lyric sheet. Despite the lyrics and secret messages, both parties contend that they are just friends. A source close to Swift calls it, "a brief crush -- nothing more." Liles is also downplaying rumors or a relationship, simply saying, quote, "We've become great friends since Love and Theft started opening shows for her." |
