Carrie Underwood Gets Her Own "Sesame Street" Character
Carrie Undewood's small screen credits continue to grow. The singer is now on "Sesame Street," providing the singing voice for "Carrie Underworm" -- an orange worm with long blonde hair that sings. On the award-winning PBS children's series her invertebrate alter-ego performs "The Worm Anthem."
"Carrie Underworm" is scheduled to appear on this Thursday's episode of "Sesame Street." The episode is scheduled to be rebroadcast on March 17th, April 8th, and April 26th. Meanwhile, Carrie Underwood will soon make her TV acting debut, appearing on the CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" next month. Over the weekend Underwood appeared on TV, singing the national anthem at Super Bowl 44. |
