Ciaran Gribbin Named New INXS Vocalist
INXS is unveiling its newest member. Billboard.com reports that Irish native Ciaran Gribbin is taking over as lead singer, following in the footsteps of "Rock Star: INXS" winner J.D. Fortune and the late Michael Hutchence. Gribbin says it's amazing to be a part of a band he's been a fan of since he was a kid, adding that he can remember watching INXS videos on MTV "like it was yesterday." As for the band's future, keyboardist Andrew Farriss says there's no "master plan." Instead, he explains that they're just trying out as many different ideas as possible to see what they can do together. But Gribbin adds that some of those new ideas might make their way to the band's upcoming live shows. INXS has a handful of concert dates set for November and December in Australia. |
