Gaga, Bieber, Gomez, More To Join New Year's Eve Celebrations
Lady Gaga will be among the many pop stars joining in the festivities this New Year's Eve. She's set to help New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg drop the famous crystal ball in Times Square tomorrow, and will also perform on "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve." Other acts slated to join Gaga, Clark and co-hosts Ryan Seacrest and Fergie include Justin Bieber, LMFAO, Nicki Minaj and Florence and the Machine. ABC will broadcast a special looking back at the past 40 years of "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" starting at 8:00 p.m., with the official bicoastal celebration getting under way at 10:00 p.m. Meanwhile, "New Year's Eve with Carson Daly" is scheduled to air on NBC at 10:00 p.m. as well. Jessie J and Cee Lo Green are on board to join Daly for the event, which will also include appearances by Drake, the Roots, Blake Shelton, Tonny Bennett and "Late Night" host Jimmy Fallon.
Over on MTV, Demi Lovato and "Teen Wolf's" Tyler Posey will host the network's "NYE In NYC 2012." That party starts at 11:00 p.m. with performances from Selena Gomez, Jason Derulo, Mac Miller and more. |
